SAINTS JOHN & PAUL
Over 1,200 gifts are donated each Christmas and the Sharing Tree Ministry organizes them for presentation and delivery to various agencies and groups. Included in these groups are neglected children, disabled children, elderly patients, and the poor.
Due to the success of our online tags last year the sharing tree will again have the majority of tags available online and a select few tags will be available in the narthex of the church beginning Sunday, November 7.
Visit signupgenius.com to access the available tags
Please review the available Sharing Tree "tags" below and click on the button to sign up.
Please print out the confirmation record of the "tag" that you select and attach to your gift. If you are unable to print the confirmation please be sure to include the Organization Name and number as well as any agency codes or gift card messages that have been noted in the sign-up. We want to make sure that the gifts get to the correct places!
Gifts can be dropped off in the upper CDC beginning November 26 through December 1. We will be delivering the gifts on Sunday, December 5.
If you are interested in volunteering to deliver the gifts on Sunday, December 5, please contact Kara Zumpella, kzumpella@hotmail.com.
This project is extremely important and takes a lot of work to make it happen. We are very fortunate in the Beaver Valley parishes to have so many people willing to work hard to make this project happen. They gather the names, make the tags, set up the trees, hang the tags, log the returned gifts into a database, log in all returned gifts, sort the gifts, shop for gifts that are not purchased, and ensure delivery to recipients. The volunteers are all lined up, and the timeline necessary for all this to happen is set. Now we need YOUR help.
If possible, please take a tag and shop for a gift. Please understand that taking a tag is a commitment to purchase a gift and to return it on time. Trees will be up in all three churches by November 13. We are requesting all gifts be returned with the original tag attached no later than December 5.
Our Great Grouping Family is incredibly loving, caring, and generous. You are the most important element in this project! Thank you!
